Anhui Jinyuan Thermal Power Co., Ltd. is a cogeneration enterprise formed according to modern corporate system. The company is located at the intersection of Qingluan Road and Fangxing Avenue in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone, a national-level development zone. It was jointly established by Hefei Haiheng Investment Holdings Group Co., Ltd., Anhui Kangyuan Electric Power Group Co., Ltd., Anhui Wanzhong Electric Power Industry Joint Stock Company, and Hefei Power Installation General Company, with a registered capital of 200 million yuan in June 2004. The company’s main business is the production and sale of electricity and heat, as well as the production and sale of related materials and equipment.
The cogeneration project of Anhui Jinyuan Thermal Power Co., Ltd. was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in July 2006 and commenced construction on September 20, 2006. This project is a key infrastructure construction project under Hefei’s “1346” Action Plan and is currently the largest investment and construction project in cogeneration in Anhui Province. The current phase of the project includes 75 MW (50 MW + 25 MW) heating and power generation units, three 220T/H high-temperature and high-pressure boilers, a 30km heating pipeline network, and supporting construction of efficient dust collectors and flue gas desulfurization devices.

Once completed, this phase of the project will generate an annual electricity output of 410 million kWh and a heating output of 7.6 million GJ. It can achieve an annual output value of 400 million yuan, replacing 91 small boilers with high energy consumption and pollution in the development zone, saving 200,000 tons of coal, reducing smoke and dust emissions by 175 tons, and reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by 1713 tons. The completion and operation of the cogeneration project will promote investment attraction in the development zone, Binhu New Area, and Feixi County, as well as enhance the level of infrastructure and promote the construction of “Eco-Hefei” and a “resource-conserving society,” which are important components of Hefei’s “Three Major Advancements.”

Anhui Jinyuan Thermal Engineering Co., Ltd. was formerly known as Anhui Chiye Thermal Engineering Co., Ltd. It is a subsidiary of Jinyuan Company. In 2012, Jinyuan Thermal Power was merged into Thermal Power Group. In order to further expand the thermal power construction market and enhance the company’s competitiveness, it was decided to increase the capital of the original Chiye Thermal Power Company and rename it as Anhui Jinyuan Thermal Engineering Co., Ltd. at the beginning of this year, while incorporating it into the group’s assessment scope.
