Introduction to the Hefei Binhu Center Provincial Government Office Building Project:In 2006, during the launch of construction in the Binhu District, Anhui Province set a clear goal to transform Hefei into a modern lakeside metropolis . It is envisioned to become the future political, economic, and cultural center of Anhui Province. This includes office buildings for the Provincial Committee, Provincial Government, Provincial People’s Congress, Provincial Political Consultative Conference, a conference center, comprehensive office buildings, archive buildings, service centers, and accommodation for armed police guards.
Currently, the main buildings including Building 1, Building 2, and Building 3 have reached advanced stages of construction. According to unofficial reports, the Provincial Committee and Provincial Government are planning to relocate here in 2014.
The new Anhui Provincial Government, Political Consultative Conference, People’s Congress, and other office buildings in Binhu are taking shape. The landscaping of the square in front of the government buildings is in progress, with all trees having been transplanted. Behind the government buildings, Ziyun Mountain is also under rapid development. In the near future, this area will serve as the political, cultural, and economic center of Anhui.
In 2015, Binhu entered a critical year, with various supporting facilities under accelerated construction. The Anhui Provincial Government Office Building is in its final stages. The greening of the government buildings and the construction of Binhu Center Park are also progressing rapidly. Looking at the pictures, various roads and signboards near the Anhui Provincial Government site are also being rapidly installed. In the second half of the year, various government departments will gradually relocate to the Binhu New Area for office operations.
