The working principle of the bellows compensator mainly utilizes its own elastic deformation function to compensate for the axial, angular, lateral, and combined displacements of the pipeline caused by thermal deformation, mechanical deformation, and various mechanical vibrations. The compensation function has the functions of pressure resistance, sealing, corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, impact resistance, vibration reduction, and noise reduction, which can reduce the deformation of the pipeline and improve the service life of the pipeline.
The design, manufacturing, installation, and operation management of stainless steel bellows compensators consist of multiple links. Therefore, reliability should also be considered from several aspects. In addition to its working efficiency, the selection of materials for bellows in the heating pipe network should also consider its medium, operating temperature, and external environment.
