The Guangzhou Daily Science and Technology Culture Center Project is a collaborative venture between the Guangzhou Development Holdings Group and the Guangzhou Daily Press Group. This project aims to construct an international, ultra-high-rise 5A-grade office building. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on October 24, 2019. The center is situated in the core area of the second central business district of Guangzhou, covering an approximate total construction area of 75,000 square meters. Upon completion, the project will host three major industries: Guangzhou Daily’s new media, cultural enterprises, and cultural finance. It closely follows the strategic development of the Guangzhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone.
Located in the heart of the second CBD (part of Huangpu District) in Guangzhou, the project’s northern side is adjacent to the major urban thoroughfare, Huangpu Avenue, and its western side is aligned with urban planning roads. The total investment for the project is around 1.3 billion RMB, encompassing office spaces, commercial premises, underground parking facilities, and equipment rooms. Once completed, it will become an international, high-quality business office complex within the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau. Simultaneously, serving as the new headquarters for the Guangzhou Daily Press Group, the building aspires to become a landmark of the second CBD in Guangzhou.
