Introduction to Guangzhou Metro Line 6 Project
The starting point of Line 6 is Xunfenggang in the Jinshazhou area in the west of Guangzhou. It crosses the Beihuan Expressway and then goes southeast along the center of Jinshazhou Road. It crosses the tributary of the Pearl River with the Baisha River Bridge on the east side of Shafeng Village. Connect to the top of Sands of Datansa. After that, the line turns to the south, from the viaduct to the underground tunnel, and goes south to Tanwei Station on the side of Shuangqiao Road and transfers to Line 5. After the line passes through the Guangmao Railway, it crosses the tributary of the Pearl River obliquely, and Ruyifang Station is located at Duobao Road within the Dadichong area of the old Guangzhou South Station. The line goes south along Huangsha Avenue to Huangsha Station at Datong Road, and transfers to Line 1. Afterwards, the line follows Liu23 Road, passes through Cultural Park, Renmin South Road, and arrives at Haizhu Square along Yide Road and transfers to Line 2. After bypassing the Guangzhou Liberation Monument, pass Taikang Road, Wanfu Road, Yuexiu South Road in turn, pass through a large building near Donghua South Road and Dashatou Road, and arrive at Donghu Station.
- The tunnel passes through Dongshan Lake and turns to the northeast, along Dongshan Street, Guigang Avenue, Shuqian Road, and transfers again with Line 1 at Dongshankou Station. Then the line turns north along Nonglinxia Road, and transfers again at Quzhuang Station with Line 5. After that, the line turns into Xianlie Middle Road with a small radius curve, then turns into Guangzhou Avenue North and Xinghua Road, and transfers with the branch line of Line 3 at Yantang Station. The line goes northeast along Yanling Road, transfers to Line 3 at Tianhe Bus Terminal, and finally arrives at Changjian Station along Tianyuan Road.
